The AWRN brings together the UK animal welfare research community, researchers in related disciplines, and stakeholders with a professional interest in animal welfare issues, in order to enhance communication and collaboration, and promote high quality fundamental and applied animal welfare research and its implementation.
As part of the annual meeting, AWRN organises a two-day event that focuses on automatic monitoring of animal welfare (day one) and sentience (day two). Agri-EPI Centre’s Duncan Forbes and one of the plenary speakers of day one, will talk about the latest work on automatic monitoring of animal welfare and funding in this area.
Registration is now open, places are limited so do book early to ensure you get a place. The event is only open to members of the AWRN, however membership is free and we welcome applications from both researchers and stakeholders, find out more here. Registration will close on Friday 24th August 2018. For more information about the event, please visit the AWRN website.
