Agri-EPI to present
Agri-EPI Centre’s CTO, Dr Shamal Mohammed, will be presenting at the biggest arable event of the year, Cereals, on Thursday 11 June. Held online, the event will be chaired by Department of International Trade’s Christopher Horne and focus on the “Practicalities, limitations and future role of precision technology on arable farming businesses”.
Shamal will give his insight on what works, what doesn’t and what’s coming down the line for arable farmers. He will also speak about a number of Agri-EPI’s current projects, including the CropScan project, which is a grain analyser currently in operation at one of our satellite farms, Shimpling Park Farm, and that measures the protein, moisture and oil of the grain as it’s harvested in the combine harvester.
In addition, Shamal will speak about our Pea Tenderness and Free Up Tech projects.
