Dairy-Tech 2020

5th February 2020

Logo

Welcoming a new generation of dairy farmers

For the first time, Agri-EPI will exhibit at Dairy-Tech on 5 February 2020.

DairyTech showcases ground-breaking concepts and innovation. This year, the event saw an increase in visitor numbers by 18%, welcomed 290 exhibitors and supported over 50 exhibitors launching new products at the event.

Due to the transformation in the dairy industry over recent years, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that farmers need to be competitive and irrespective of their system type and market they supply. Regardless of their cost base, future successful dairy businesses must be informed, resilient, proactive and efficient. Dairy-Tech provides this platform, alongside a recognition that dairy farming has become a professional industry.

Glas Data

Glas Data is an Agri-tech company with the vision of solving data fragmentation in the agricultural sector with their agridata management dashboard – GlasCore.

GlasCore is an easy-to-use cloud-based agricultural management and decision support software solution. It uniquely brings precision data from any source into one place, offering enhanced automation, clear data aggregation, visualisation and reporting.

The dashboard places dynamic data aggregation into the hands of farmers, agri-service businesses and processors. Offering a unique opportunity to visualise production, automate workflows, streamline operations and mitigate issues allows agribusinesses and farmers to increase their farm’s productivity. Ultimately, Glas Data is driven to simplify the world of precision farming; saving users time and money whilst improving efficiency and yields.

AgSenze

Develop innovative animal health and welfare monitoring systems using bioacoustic and machine vision technologies.

These systems aim to provide previously unavailable levels of insight and actionable feedback to farmers and Agribusinesses by listening to and visually inspecting animals. Agsenze Ltd produced a dairy herd monitoring system called HerdVision.

HerdVision is a 3D camera system that is positioned above a race and analyses cows as they walk underneath to automatically produce accurate Body Condition Scores (BCS) and Mobility warnings after every milking, which in turn helps farmers to spot health problems early and take action to prevent long term damage and loss of milk production.
