Meet Our Experts
Agri-EPI Centre has two teams: the Business Development Team and the Technical Team. The Technical Team provides technical expertise and utilizes our advanced technical assets, including sensors, drones, robotics, and more. Our team also has access to testing and trialing facilities, both at our hubs and our partner farms, ensuring that new technologies are tested and validated in real-world farming environments. Our work is dedicated to driving towards more productive and sustainable farming practices, creating a healthier and more sustainable food system. Together, our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services to help agri-tech innovators bring their ideas to market, ultimately transforming the agriculture industry.
Current Funding Opportunities
Farming Innovation Programme -Research Starter round 4
This funding is part of Defra’s Farming Innovation Programme which is a partnership with UKRI’s Transforming Food Production Challenge and delivered by Innovate UK.
Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a share of £850,000 for projects to improve productivity, sustainability and resilience in the agricultural sector.
UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund
The UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S) is an early-stage investment fund supported by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and nine other public research bodies. It aims to assist ambitious UK innovators in seed-stage and beyond by promoting sustainable growth, enhancing societal health and security, and driving economic returns from the UK’s publicly funded research. UKI2S, formerly known as the Rainbow Seed Fund, is a government-backed venture capital fund that offers seed funding to science and technology startups and SMEs.
