IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH stands for high-performance industrial cameras which open up new application areas for future-oriented image processing tasks in the field of agriculture. This includes, for example, plant growth monitoring, weed detection or the recognition of certain object conditions (e.g. whether containers are filled with or without soil).Three different product lines enable a limitless spectrum of applications: small, robust and easy-to-use cameras with different interfaces (USB, Gigabit Ethernet), powerful 3D cameras and cameras with artificial intelligence (AI). The latter are available as a particularly user-friendly end-to-end solution to create AI-based imaging applications in just a few steps. It requires neither special knowledge in deep learning nor camera programming. This makes it very easy to get started with AI-based image processing.
Since its foundation in 1997 as a two-man company, IDS has developed into an independent, ISO-certified family business with more than 300 employees.
