Its farmbots Tom, Dick and Harry will plant, feed and weed arable crops autonomously, with minimal waste. Small Robot Company will integrate Rootwave’s weed zapping technology to make autonomous non-chemical weeding a reality; using precision to deliver an increased yield with minimal chemical usage.
Its first commercial service for weed mapping recently launched, with weed zapping trials to follow in 2020.
Customers include Waitrose and the National Trust.
