Agri-EPI Centre has recently employed Katelyn Randle, a graduate from Harper Adams University class of 2023, as its new Business Development Administrator. Having spent the last 4 years at Harper Adams, studying Agri-food Marketing with Business, Katelyn was awarded a First Class with Honours and an award for Top of The Course. Through her time at university, Katelyn has developed a vast understanding of the whole ‘field to fork’ process, and the necessity for sustainability throughout the food supply chain.

Katelyn also completed a placement year as a Commercial & Category executive at Samworth Brothers during her degree. The first six months were spent working at Ginsters, where Katelyn had the opportunity to be customer facing, presenting to Tesco buyers, and working on inflation mitigation strategies. She then worked at Kettleby Foods for the second sixth months focusing on account management. Working as a Commercial Executive allowed Katelyn to gain further opportunities to work cross-functionally, supporting wider teams such as category and NPD, as well as developing her skills relating to cohesively collating various ideas to be presented to management and the retailer.

Katelyn provides invaluable support to the Agri-EPI Business Development team, assisting with a wide range of administrative tasks and event coordination.

Katelyn said:

“I am thrilled to be working at Agri-EPI Centre, a company whose vision so closely aligns with what I have learnt in my degree. I’m looking forward to helping support the various networking events, as well as using my collaborative-mindset to actively engage in all aspects of my role and the wider business.”
