The technology can provide key data that can be practically applied for food quality assessment. As such, there is enormous potential for the use of this equipment for seeds and crops, fresh produce, meat and fish at various stages of growth and production.

Buchi NIR is an effective tool in the analysis of typical parameters including, moisture, protein, fat, connective tissue, ash, starch, lactose and gluten. From supporting the optimization of formulation during production to inspecting packaged goods; identifying ideal blending of malt to relevant ingredients in finished products. Applications include calibrations of raw meat, poultry, pig and fish feed, wet pet food, cereals and ground wheat flour.
